WIND’s Programs
We come alongside the teachers and leadership team at Colegio Horeb as they seek to provide quality education based on Biblical principles. We work directly with teachers to improve teaching technique and strategy. Under the strong leadership of Principal Tabita Toma, there are now 23 teachers and over 360 students in grades Pre-K through 9th grade. Horeb currently meets in rented buildings spread across Cotzal.
WIND is leading the effort to build a new school in Cotzal that will one day allow 700 students to study and achieve new heights.
Through a sponsorship program, WIND supports continuing education for at-risk and gifted students. Our 21 Girls Program encourages all girls to stay in school and graduate from ninth grade.
WIND initiated a feeding program to meet the needs of malnourished children who struggle in the classroom.
We help facilitate the training of church pastors and leaders. We have launched a Biblical Studies Certificate program for pastors and lay leaders.
